Requirements

The following documents and details are required for the shareholder, general manager and secretary of the company who can be the same person:

3 proposed company names in order of preference
Consultant’s Appointment Letter (the template will be provided by us)
Colored passport copies of the shareholder and other officers of the company
Proof of Address (for example electricity or telephone or water bill, etc.)
Various application forms (these will be prepared and provided by us)
Physical presence of Shareholder is required after initial approval

Business Activities

DWC offers a very wide range of business activities falling under 5 types of licenses: Services, Trading, Logistics, Industrial and Education. A DWC Company can have up to 3 business activities from the same category in one license and allows to carry out services in the UAE and sell products in the UAE market through a local agent.
The minimum office facility required for a DWC license is a Smart Desk provided by the DWC Authorities and allows for 2 visas.
If you require more visas you need to rent a physical office within the Free Zone.

Application

At this stage we will submit to the DWC authorities a company application, three proposed company names, personal information and passports copies for the shareholder and manager of the company. The approval of the application is expected to take 5 to 7 days. The presence of the client is not necessary in the initial submission stage but once the company is approved client needs to visit the free zone for passport and signature verification. At the same time we will take the client to complete the bank account opening facilities however, signed documents should be sent to us in original form.

Registration and licensing

After the submission of the Smart Desk contract, the DWC authorities will issue the certificate of incorporation, MOA, share certificate and company license.

Establishment card

The establishment card will be issued 7 to 10 days after the company registration. The establishment card will allow the company to apply for the eligible residence visas for the shareholder, manager and employees of the company.

Residence Visa

For the issue of a residence visa the presence of the applicant in Dubai is necessary for around 5 working days after visa approval. During this time the medical checkup takes place along with the finger print session and visa stamping in the passport. A residence visa is valid for 3 years however the visa holder should visit Dubai at least once every 6 months.

Corporate Bank Account
